Where in the West: April

A small town in the middle distance can be driven to and provides access to some good wildlife viewing. There is an obvious, smallish ice field/glacier in the foreground.

can be driven to. Well that rules out all of the glaciers I know personally in Alaska. Or does it?

I know of at least two that can be driven to or very close to. The glacier/ice field in the foreground has no road to it. The town kind of middle distance can be driven to (that narrows down the towns somewhat).

I'd say you're on the right track!
