Dave at Scootworks - I think it's quite strange that they don't at least send automated emails to everyone! And it would be more than annoying to be paying for their service and to not have any satisfaction regarding contacting them and fixes. I mean, their whole site was inaccessible to me.

Can you do me favour and try to see my blog with a IE7? Will it not show? Would simply removing the counter from the blog solve the problem? There is only Firefox on the single computer here so I cannot test it.

Most of the sites I googled that might have solutions were affected by something similar(?) in June, and they have sitemeter on their site, so I couldn't get to them. Most other answers were for programmers and were about how not to put scripts inside html - or something - and I couldn't see that it applied to the sitemeter script, but I'm no expert.

Funny! I was having the same problem, found the same issue on other sites I know use the same meter, and used the same temporary solution. I was just about to google sitemeter to find out if there was any info on this, and saw your post on the reader. It's a relief to know at least one other person is having the same problem.
