It's been a while since I've done this - not since August as a matter of fact. September and October were just too busy, apparently!Here are two famous mountains as seen from some kind of flying machine. One was snow-covered at the time of this photo; one has just a tad of snow. If you can identify one mountain, you can identify the other! That's not really a clue, it's just the truth. You can enlarge the photo if you'd like - it's a bit grainy but otherwise okay.

hmmm ... those look really familiar ... is it Mt. Ranier and Mt. St. Helens?

I think the two volcanoes are Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Adams.
Brian's got it right. It's Rainier on the left, St. Helens in the center, and the Columbia River on the right. The airplane is definitely over Oregon. DB Cooper is nowhere in sight... or is he?

Lockwood, you are second, and a point for noticing the plane was decending into the Portland Airport.
Ron, you got the correct answer third (as you are well, aware!). And the Columbia River is to the right. I'm not sure what or who DB Cooper is, though.
Crystallizations, you are one-half right, about Mt. St. Helens. I'm not sure whether Mt. Adams is north of the river or south, without going on Google Earth.
