Travel to Northwest

I will be/am en route and at the Northwest convention in Reno for the next couple days. I may already be behind on any comments, but will try to stay in touch, and do have mobile reading capability, but do not always have mobile commenting capability (it seems erratic or I just don't get it). Any posts in the next couple days will have been pre-posted.

If any other Geo/Bloggers will be at the meeting, I would probably be able to meet Thursday after the LLLL session or at the evening bash. I'll be there, passing my business cards around to any and all interested parties.

And now, just too tired to do anything but get to sleep!

All those busy pine beetles are making things perfect for geology!

Hmmm... that's a bit farther NW than I was thinking of.

Thanks, Hypoglycemiagirl! And there's no snow on the road, either!

Tequila? Consultants and Independents? :)

Not sure exactly what you're getting at - if you were there, sorry I missed you!

I'm sorry for the cryptic post. It was a failed attempt to ask you if you were: 1) at the Large Left Lateral Leaps session on Friday and if you partook of the Hornitos that was passed around the room, and 2) at the Consultants and Independents Hospitality Bash Thursday evening at the Silver Club.

A good meeting all the way around. Though a bit more optimism would have been much better.

Hope you had a good time.

GeoBeed, I did make it to both those things - focused more on the beer in the back of the room than the bottle being passed around (I forgot they did that sometimes!) - and was at the Independents Party for awhile. And I am sorry I missed you. Next time, email! [I am blogging with a psuedonym; don't care to have myself too google-able.]
