Trees and Leaves

This is a case of trees and leaves and more leaves. The elm trees above are finally letting go of their green to brown leaves! It's fall, already, so it's time for that.
Leaves and shadows...
More leaves...
And more leaves! They are everywhere, and make nice crunching sounds when I go out for my morning walks.

Those are some great pictures :)
As much as I hate winter, sometimes fall can be nice to see. I just wish we could skip the winter part :P

Amanda and ReBecca - thanks!

October is often a great time of year, even on the East Coast US. When I lived back there, my favorite days besides October (and part of spring) were the days in winter where the temps were 20 degrees F and the wind was blowing like crazy - simply because in winter those were the few clear, sunny days. Hot, humid, smoggy summer sucked, IMO.

I got used to low temps in Alaska, and prefer it cool rather than too warm, anymore.
